Berenjak to open third London restaurant

Berenjak, the Persian restaurant backed by JKS Restaurants, is to open its third London location this year.

The group posted images of an empty site on Instagram with the caption “Merry Christmas to you all, Berenjak Mayfair – SS25”.

No further details have been shared on the Mayfair restaurant.

Berenjak was created by ex-Gymkhana and Brigadiers chef Kian Samyani. Its first London restaurant opened in Soho in 2018 and has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2019. 

A second London location opened near Borough Market in 2022 and earned a Bib Gourmand in 2024.

A partnership with Soho House saw the launch of a spin-off restaurant Little Berenjak at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire and Dumbo House in New York last year, although bookings are only available to members.

Berenjak also launched a restaurant each in the cities of Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates in 2024 as well as in Doha, Qatar.

The Dubai opening won a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide Dubai just months after opening.
