More than 3,500 people enjoyed late summer sunshine on Sunday while attending the London Hospitality Festival at the King’s House Sports Ground in Chiswick, London.
Now in its 11th year, the event combined family fun, live music, food and sporting events. Industry charity Springboard also hosted the National Waiters’ Day race, with the top three prizes going to Cranio Silva (male event) of the Hilton London Heathrow Airport; Svenja Heer (female) of Mews Systems and the RAF Club (team).
The football tournament saw teams from 80 companies competing across six events. Sushisamba and Duck & Waffle carried off the top prize, beating Firmdale Hotels 3-1 in the final, while the other five cups went to St Ermin’s hotel, Crowne Plaza London Docklands, Sea Containers hotel, Fresh Montgomery and the Bloomsbury hotel.
In the softball final, a team from the Fitzroy Kimpton London was victorious against the Maybourne Hotel Group.
The London Hospitality Festival was founded and organised by Paul Gilley of PJ Search & Selection.
