Travelodge is partnering with Itsu to bring its Asian-inspired noodles and snacks to some of its hotels.
The hotel chain will stock some of the supermarket range from the fast-casual restaurant brand in its hotels that do not have bars and cafés.
The products are initially being trialled in 36 hotels. Customers will be able to purchase the items at reception 24 hours a day, and there are plans to introduce online ordering.
Items such as the satay udon noodle pot, katsu rice noodle cup, sweet chilli prawn crackers and dark chocolate mini rice cakes will be available to purchase separately or as part of a meal deal.
Karen Broughton, Travelodge sales and marketing director, said: "We are delighted to be the first UK hotel brand to partner with Itsu and bring an exclusive ‘eat beautiful' range of convenience noodles and snacks to our non-bar café hotels.
"This initiative has been introduced on the back of customer feedback and is also another step on our brand transformation programme to deliver an even higher quality and great value experience to customers."
Georgina Bolton Carter, Itsu brand manager, said: "We are thrilled about our new partnership with Travelodge and are so excited to see our Asian-inspired snacks on offer in their hotels all across the UK."
