Chef Tony Parkin is set to leave the Michelin-starred Tudor Room this summer to ‘focus on new projects’.
Parkin joined the restaurant, located at Great Fosters hotel in Egham, Surrey, in 2019.
He said: “I am incredibly proud of what the team and I have achieved, and it feels like the right time to close the door on this chapter. I am looking forward to focussing on new projects and showcasing my food in a different environment.”
Parkin previously served three-and-a-half years as head chef at Graham Garett's restaurant with rooms the West House in Ashford.
He also worked as a private chef for Lord and Lady Bamford. He replaced Douglas Balish at the Tudor Room, who went on to join the Grove of Narberth in Pembrokeshire as executive chef.
