Six by Nico takes on new Glasgow flagship site

Nico Simeone is to move his Glasgow Six by Nico restaurant to a new location and open two new concepts in his existing sites in the city.

A new flagship Six by Nico Glasgow restaurant will open in Merchant City in January, with ‘chippie’ concept the Sole Club taking its place in Finnieston.

Meanwhile, cocktail bar Somewhere by Nico is set to open in Six Company’s existing Six by Nico Byres Road site.

All Six by Nico bookings from Finnieston will be transferred to the new site, while Sole Club will take its place. Sole Club will include two concepts, a fish and chip takeaway and a 22-cover speakeasy-style fish restaurant with a daily changing menu.

Somewhere by Nico will be a cocktail bar inspired by the Six by Nico concept, with a six-stage cocktail experience changing every six weeks, depending on the theme of the period.
