New York-based fast-casual restaurant group Shake Shack is due to open at Cambridge Circus in London's West End.
It is to take on the site that had until recently been occupied by Jacob Kenedy's Vico Italian street food restaurant, which closed in June.
It will serve signature burgers such as the ShackBurger, SmokeShack and Shack Stack; hot dogs like the Shack-cago Dog and the ShackMeister Sausage; and crinkle cut fries.
The new restaurant joins the existing sites in London's Covent Garden, Stratford, Tottenham Court Road, Leicester Square, Canary Wharf, Victoria and Cardiff's St. David's Dewi Sant.
Julia Wilkinson, group restaurant and strategy executive at Shaftesbury said: "Shake Shack's game-changing re-interpretation of a fast food classic already has a strong and loyal following in the UK, and we are pleased to welcome their flagship London restaurant to Cambridge Circus, an iconic location in the heart of the West End.
Shake Shack started life as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in Manhattan in 2001. It now has restaurants in 12 countries including Bahrain, Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the US.
