Tom Morgan joins Sea Containers London from MJMK restaurants where he was area operations chef.
The five-AA-star hotel Sea Containers on London’s Bankside has appointed Tom Morgan as head chef of the Sea Containers Restaurant and Lyaness Bar.
Prior to his appointment, Morgan was executive chef at social gaming concept Flight Club, overseeing the launch of 14 venues.
Most recently he was area operations chef for MJMK restaurants, working alongside chefs including Nuno Mendes and Santiago Lastra at restaurants including Kol and Lisboeta.
Morgan said: "I’m very passionate about the simplicity of cooking, using minimal ingredients to truly highlight the quality of the produce. It’s about letting the natural flavours shine and crafting dishes that are both honest and memorable.
“I’m excited to now be bringing my skills to Sea Containers and look forward to sharing my vision and passion with the team and guests."
