Indian vegetarian restaurant brand Sakonis is opening a second site, in Hatch End, Harrow, north-west London.
The group has one other site in Wembley, which has been open as a fruit and vegetable shop since 1983, adding a small snack restaurant in 1990.
Since undergoing a complete re-brand and refurbishment in 2015, the family-owned and run restaurant has grown from a snack bar to a restaurant serving an a la carte menu, a lunch and dinner buffet, a grab-and-go snack bar and a savoury snack (farsan) shop on the same site.
The new site will be opening at 330 Uxbridge Road in Pinner, north west London.
The menu includes bhel (puffed rice, crushed puri and vegetables in a tamarind sauce), pay bhaji (steamed vegetables in a spicy tomato and onion gravy), paneer chilli and masala dosa (a savoury pancake made from lentils and rice, and served with sambhar and coconut chutney).
