Richoux to move to Soho

The Richoux restaurant in London’s Piccadilly is to relocate to Soho this winter, almost two years after it reopened.

Former Moor Hall chefs Jamie Butler and Lewis Spencer were responsible for bringing back the 100-year-old British institution after Dining Street, the company that previously owned the Richoux brand, fell into administration in January 2021.

The chef patrons will continue to offer a selection of dishes that pay homage to the grand brasseries of Paris in their soon-to-launch Soho home.

The restaurant was described by The Observer's food critic Jay Rayner as serving a “pitch perfect menu of beautifully executed crowd pleasers”.

Butler said: “We have loved every minute of our time on Piccadilly, and we are incredibly grateful to all our loyal patrons and regulars who have supported us."

Spencer added: “But Soho is calling, and we can’t wait to move into our incredible new restaurant – bringing everything that our customers love from our classic French onion soup to our patisserie counter… with of course, lots of exciting new surprises for our guests too!”

The final service at Richoux Piccadilly will be held on 26 September.
