Food wrapping dispenser firm is increasing its supply capabilities by 50%.
Food wrap dispenser supplier Prowrap has strategically invested in boosting multiple parts of its business.
The purchase of several new rewinders and machinery has boosted capacity and capability to produce its UK-made range of products by 50%. The machines – specifically designed for baking paper and aluminium foils – are designed to deliver enhanced manufacturing capability, further enabling Prowrap to develop bespoke products.
The investment is designed to deliver environmental benefits too. Commercial director Bryony Barlow said: “Our new coreless paper rewinder enables us to eliminate hundreds of tonnes of cardboard from our – and our customers’ – supply chains by removing the need for roll cores on our baking paper. Our new foil lines allow us to quickly adapt to emerging trends by producing different sizes and gauges of foil.”
In addition, the company has made three new hires in the commercial team. Scott Andrew joins as Scottish regional account manager, Mil Krila is a new national account manager, and the company also welcomes Pete Snook into the role of business support executive.
Barlow added: “Good things come in threes, and that’s certainly proven to be true in this case. Our three new faces bring a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives to our sales team, ensuring we can deliver the sector-leading pre- and post-purchase support that all our customers deserve.”
The latest investment follows Prowrap’s launch of Speedwrap Pro dispensers and compatible cling film, recyclable foil and compostable baking paper earlier this year.
