The city outpost of the Gleneagles hotel in Scotland appoints Ewan Grant as general manager.
Ewan Grant has been announced as the general manager of the 33-bedroom Gleneagles Townhouse in Edinburgh.
Grant, who is a native Scotsman, is returning to his homeland after 17 years of experience in hospitality including operations and managerial roles at Dakota Hotels, Cameron House, Foxhills, Borthwick Castle and the Ivy Collection.
He was most recently operations director at Daylesford Organic and oversaw the opening of the Fox at Oddington.
Grant has roots in Edinburgh and will use his local knowledge and background in F&B and membership engagement to drive forward the success of Gleneagles Townhouse, while continuing to forge the connection between the city hotel and its sister property, Gleneagles in Auchterarder.
Grant said: “I am incredibly excited to have returned to Edinburgh and even more excited to have joined the Gleneagles team. Gleneagles Townhouse is a superb urban retreat, and I look forward to continuing the great work that has been done. This iconic building has a rich offering with so much to celebrate for hotel guests, members and visitors to this magnificent city."
