Patty and Bun to close Soho restaurant

Patty and Bun will close its branch in London’s Soho at the end of the month for reasons “out of [its] control”.

Posting the news on Instagram, the burger chain said: “This will sadly be our last trading week at our beloved P&B Old Compton St. Over seven years old now, it’s a true patty little vibe den.

“Unfortunately it wasn’t our choice to leave, and was out of our control, but the show must go on.”

After the closure of the Compton Street Patty and Bun on 28 October, the restaurant group's portfolio will drop to ten sites in total. Two of these are located within food halls run by crazy golf operator Swingers.

Patty and Bun was founded by Joe Grossmann in November 2012. It began as a 30-cover restaurant near London’s Bond Street.

The business has since expanded across the capital and launched its first site outside of London in Brighton in 2018.
