London’s second Nobu hotel, on London’s Portman Square, is opening on 9 November, with Grant Campbell as general manager.
The 249-bedroom property will feature a Nobu restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace, plus a 600-person ballroom, gym, wellness facilities and meeting spaces. The venue will be the new home of the Nobu Berkeley Street restaurant, which closed earlier this year.
David Collins Studio has overseen the hotel’s common spaces, including the lobby, lobby lounge, Nobu bar and restaurant, outdoor terrace, ballroom and boardrooms. Rooms and suites have been designed by Make Architects.
Reservations are now being taken for the hotel, a collaboration between owner L+R and Nobu Hospitality, the lifestyle brand founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper.
The hotel previously operated as the Radisson Blu Portman Square and before that was the Portman InterContinental.
