Southern fried chicken brand Mother Clucker is set to open its first permanent site at London's Exmouth Market.
Mother Clucker has been operating from a converted US Army Ambulance in London for the past five years, as well as taking up guest residency at the Cat and Mutton pub in London Fields, and is now set to open its first bricks and mortar site on 15 May.
The restaurant will serve the brand's signature fried chicken and Cajun fries, as well as breakfast and coffee, Five Points Brewing Co. beers, and New Orleans-inspired cocktails including Sex On The Rocks, Peeking Through The Grass Skirts and Kermit's Middle Leg. The site's interior will be adorned with Mother Clucker stickers.
Brittney Bean, co-founder of Mother Clucker, said: "After five years of frying chicken from trucks, gazebos and shipping containers all over London, we're ready to roll out our permanent units with an expanded food and drinks menu. We're really excited about breakfast, and we're really excited about Five Points beer and we're really excited about cocktails, but mostly we're really, really excited about bringing more people more chicken more of the time."
