Monkey Island opens six private residences

YTL Hotels’ Monkey Island Estate in Bray, Berkshire, has added six private residences in the village to its offering ahead of the reopening of the 40-bedroom hotel.

The residences include the 19th-century Long White Cloud residence (pictured) on the banks of the Thames, made up of four bedroom suites with a kitchen, garden, private pool and jetty, and the four-suite Brook House, which also has a private outdoor/indoor swimming pool and garden.

There is also the three-bedroom Sundial Cottage; the 500-year-old, one-bedroom Dormer Cottage; the three-bedroom Bray House; and the three-bedroom Lavender House.

Guests to the residences will be welcomed with a fully stocked fridge on arrival along with pre-arranged food orders collected on their behalf in advance.

Nightly rates start from £400 and are subject to length of stay; a minimum three-night stay is required at all residences over summer weekends. The residences are available to book now, but the hotel’s reopening date is to be confirmed.

Malaysia-based YTL Hotels owns and operates four other hotels in the UK alongside Monkey Island Estate, which opened last year, including the Gainsborough Bath Spa; the Glasshouse in Edinburgh, and the Academy and Threadneedles in London.
