Meliá to open London Kensington Hotel next year

Meliá Hotels International has announced it will open the London Kensington Hotel in early 2019.

The new 81 bedroom hotel will include a restaurant, bar, updated meeting rooms and wellness area. It will be Melia's third property in London, joining Meliá White House at Great Portland Street and ME London on the Strand.

Announcing the opening at World Travel Market Meliá Hotels International executive vice president and chief executive Gabriel Escarrer said: "We are the only one of the top 20 international hotel companies that has focused its entire portfolio of brands on the leisure and ‘bleisure' segments, with all of our brands positioned to operate as resorts in urban destinations with a high leisure component. London is the perfect location for this concept."
