Marc Adams joins the Isle of Mull hotel following a £4m investment programme.
Marc Adams has been appointed general manager at the 75-room Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa in Scotland.
Adams previously held general manager roles at Hotel Collessio in Stirling and the Loch Rannoch hotel, which was formerly part of Macdonald Hotels before it was privately sold in 2020.
Following the sale, Adams led the full refurbishment at the four-star estate.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in hospitality and also worked at the five-star Rusacks, St Andrews.
Adams joins the Isle of Mull hotel following a £4m investment, which saw the launch of the Wilderness Deck and Driftwood Spa featuring a 17-metre swimming pool.
The hotel, which is part of Crerar Hotels Group, recently saw the return of executive chef Noel Escobal to lead the kitchen at its Òran na Mara bistro.
Adams said: “It gives me great pleasure to take on the reins at Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa, it is certainly a gem within the Crerar Hotels’ portfolio which I fell in love with the first time I visited.”
Chris Wayne-Wills, chief executive of Crerar Hotels, said: “I look forward to watching, and being on hand, as Marc settles in at Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa and continues to grow a fantastic team at this award-winning hotel.”
Crerar Hotels runs 10 hotels in Scotland and one in Cumbria.
