Starboard hotels and the Citrus Group have partnered to acquire a site at Connell Crescent Park Royal, London, for a figure in excess of £6m.
The two businesses plan to build a new 146- bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel, due to open spring 2019. Construction is expected to start later this year.
Starboard has signed a franchise agreement with Hilton to operate the hotel under the Hampton brand. This will be Starboard's first Hilton franchise to add to the 13 branded hotels that the company owns and operates throughout the UK.
Paul Callingham, managing director of Starboard hotels said: "We are thrilled to have acquired our first London hotel site and look forward to working with Hilton on this exciting project. The location of the hotel is excellent, being next to Park Royal underground whilst close to, Hangar Lane, Crossrail and the proposed HS2 terminus at Old Oak Common."
The site was purchased from Atlas Holdings Ltd and was originally part of the Atlas Hotels portfolio.
