Woky Ko: Kauto
The team behind Larkin Cen's Woky Ko at Cargo 1 in Bristol's Wapping Wharf has launched a second restaurant in the city's Queen's Road called Kauto. Named after a champion racehorse, the restaurant is an extension to Woky Ko with a similar casual-dining ethos and Asian dishes, such as bao, sharing plates and noodles, but with a wider menu and a more grown up interior of polished concrete and muted colours.
New cocktails have been created by aaaaGary Roper of Wapping Wharf neighbour Little Victories, some featuring Woky gin, a nashi pear gin created in collaboration with Bristol distillery Psychopomp. The newly refurbished apace, formerly a Caffè Nero features kitchen-side seating.
The first floor will be fully opened after a two-week launch period and further dishes will be added to the menu.
