Pensons
Pensons restaurant has opened at the Netherwood Estate on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. The restaurant is overseen by chef Lee Westcott, former head chef at the Typing Room at the Town Hall hotel in London's Bethnal Green. Pensons is housed within former farm buildings dating from the 15th century.
Seasonal produce is largely sourced and foraged from the estate's livestock, crops, orchards, kitchen garden, woodlands and lakes. Westcott is also collaborating with local producers, while fish and shellfish are sourced from the west Cornish coast.
The restaurant is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and for lunch from Thursday to Sunday, offering three courses à la carte for £50, a tasting menu for £75 or a lunch menu with two courses for £27 or three for £32.
