Interserve wins £3.6m contract with Hastings Academies Trust

Facilities management provider Interserve has won a three-year contract with Hastings Academies Trust in St Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings, East Sussex.

Interserve beat three other tenders to win the contract which is valued at £3.6m.

The Hastings Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust, comprising of two secondary schools, six primary schools and one infant school in Hastings.

Interserve has been asked by the Academy to provide a range of nutritious meals to students and staff which meet and exceed Government standards.

At the end of the term, Hastings Academies Trust will have the option to extend the contract by a further two years.

Interserve offers cleaning, catering, security and maintenance packages. It has a gross revenues of £3.7 billion and a workforce of 80,000 people across 40 countries.
