Planning permission for a new Ivy Brasserie in Harrogate has been granted.
The restaurant will span from 7-9 Parliament Street in Harrogate town centre and is due to open later this year following a major refurbishment. The Brasserie will feature a garden roof terrace and will be open seven days a week offering all-day dining.
It was purchased from a private investor and Lynne Webster, of LCF Barber Titleys led the deal.
Webster said: "This is a really exciting proposition for Harrogate. The Ivy has been a fixture of London's fine dining and social scene for 100 years this year, and I have been delighted to have been involved with its expansion into the North. The restaurant will no doubt appeal to both local people and tourists, and it is also set to create around 100 jobs in the town."
The Ivy Collection is a group of restaurants, brasseries and cafés established in London offering all-day dining in a relaxed, local setting, and as well as sites in London, Bristol and Surrey, is set to open four brasseries in City Garden, Tower Bridge, Bath and Edinburgh.
