The group’s fourth hotel comes five years after GuestHouse launched its first property, No 15 by GuestHouse, in Bath.

Boutique hotel group GuestHouse is set to open its fourth and flagship property, No 124, on Brighton’s seafront next month.

GuestHouse was founded by brothers Tristan, James and Tom Guest in 2019, the same year the trio launched their first hotel in Bath, No 15 by GuestHouse.

The ‘home away from home’ brand has since expanded into York and Margate and is now headquartered in Brighton.

The group is known for its amenities, such as help-yourself pantries and in-room record players.

No 124 straddles across three Victorian and Georgian townhouses, offering 32 bedrooms, three of which are suites, as well as a bar, terrace, lounge, games room and courtyard.

Later in the month will see the launch of a FieldTrip Spa and resident restaurant Pearly Cow, which will serve dishes ranging from eggs florentine to whole grilled monkfish tail to share.

Private hire spaces for meetings, events and get-togethers will be available to book from November.

The property is being managed by Ben Swindells, who was appointed hotel director, having joined GuestHouse as group operations director in October last year.

Swindells said: “We’re thrilled to bring No 124 by GuestHouse to Brighton, a city that perfectly aligns with our vision of creating vibrant, one-of-a-kind boutique hotels. We’ve assembled a passionate team dedicated to creating a hotel that truly reflects the city’s diverse and colourful character.”

Room rates at No 124 by GuestHouse, Brighton, start from £295 including breakfast.
