Foodservice caterer Green & Fortune is bringing back its St Patrick’s Day charity fundraiser for 2020 and hopes to surpass the £22,000 raised last year.
The lunch will be hosted at Green & Fortune's Rotunda, the waterside restaurant in King’s Cross, and will showcase the best of Irish spirit and hospitality.
Guests will enjoy a four-course lunch inspired by traditional Irish fare with live music, an Irish singalong, plus a fundraising raffle and auction.
Speaking after last year’s event, Green & Fortune chief executive John Nugent said: “The day was an incredible success. We originally set out to host a small gathering, but with great interest and support it turned into a far larger event. Delivering almost £22,000 to the charities shows the generosity of the hospitality sector, which makes us all very proud.”
The lunch will again raise funds for the London Irish Centre, which provides positive assistance to Irish expatriates in London, and the Clink Charity, which provides prisoner rehabilitation initiatives at its restaurants and at catering events.
The Green & Fortune Pre-St Patrick’s Day Lunch Celebration takes place on Friday 13 March at 12:15pm at Rotunda, London. Tickets are £95 per person and can be ordered here.
