Gergo Feher has been appointed as restaurant general manager of Ekstedt at the Yard in London’s Westminster.
Feher previously worked at Lucknam Part Hotel in Bath, the Greenhouse in London’s Mayfair, and the Latymer at Pennyhill Park in Bagshot. Most recently, he was restaurant manager of Norway’s Michelin-starred restaurant Under, which is partially underwater.
In his new role he will work closely with chef Niklas Ekstedt to lead the team at the Scandinavian-inspired restaurant.
Ekstedt has launched his first a la carte menu at the venue and is working on events for the year ahead.
Ekstedt at the Yard opened at the Great Scotland Yard Hotel in September 2021, taking over from Robin Gill’s restaurant the Yard, which opened in December 2019.
The Caterer spoke to Ekstedt about bringing his style of open-fire cooking to the UK last year.
