Paul O’Leary has been named a non-executive director of the business.

Former Boden executive Paul O’Leary has joined the board of the Revel Collective bar group.

The business, previously Revolution Bars Group, underwent a major restructure this year that saw it close around 14 bars. It is left with around 60 sites, including Revolution bars and the Peach Pubs Collective.

O’Leary has been named a non-executive director of the business, joining Laine Pub Company founder Gavin George and hospitality investor Charlie McVeigh on the board.

Hospitality entrepreneur Luke Johnson was named non-executive chairman of the business in September after acquiring a 20% stake earlier this year.

O’Leary has extensive financial and management role experience in the consumer sector, having served as chief financial officer at clothing retailer Boden between 2000 and 2019 and then as chief operating officer between 2019 and 2024.

He now sits on the board of Boden as non-executive director and audit committee chair. It is intended that he will also chair the Revel Collective’s audit committee.

Johnson said: "Paul has deep experience of the UK retail sector as the long-serving finance director at Boden, and we look forward to taking advantage of his advice and knowledge as we navigate the challenging conditions ahead."
