FCSI UK and Ireland appoints Matthew Merritt-Harrison to position of vice chair

Matthew Merritt-Harrison has been appointed as vice chair of the FCSI UK and Ireland and as managing partner of Merritt-Harrison Catering Consultancy, will support the current chair, Julian Edwards, until he succeeds as chair of the FCSI in December 2018.

 

Merritt-Harrison has more 40 years' experience of the catering industry and is also a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality. He was formerly co-chair of the FCSI North American Conference and chair of a previous FCSI Worldwide Conference.

 

In his role as vice chair, he is keen to position the FCSI UK and Ireland as the authoritative voice of the industry, for its members to be the ‘go to' experts regarding management consultancy and design, and for the society to add value and competitive advantage for FCSI members of all grades.

 

He will work closely with the FCSI in Europe and Worldwide to ensure that members have additional opportunities to develop their businesses and learn from the FCSI internationally.
