EasyHotel makes Chester acquisition and confirms Milton Keynes hotel

EasyHotel has confirmed the completion on the acquisition of a property in Milton Keynes and the purchase of a new Chester site.

The budget hotel operator announced the £8.7m acquisition of a site in Milton Keynes in January, which it plans to turn into a 124-bedroom hotel that is expected to open next year.

Meanwhile, EasyHotel has also announced the acquisition of a 109-bedroom hotel in Chester. It is being handed over as a turnkey development, which should also open in 2019.

The group also opened a hotel in Maastricht at the beginning of July, taking the total number of hotels in the group to 28.
