Super-budget hotel operator EasyHotel has announced its intention to delist from the London Stock Exchange on 19 May.
The decision comes after investor consortium Bidco took control of the company in August last year.
Bidco was a newly incorporated company owned by a consortium of Cadim Fonds, part of Canadian real estate company Ivanhoé Cambridge and real estate firm ICAMAP.
The hotel group has said: “The board believes that the cancellation is in the best interests of the company and shareholders as a whole.”
In September last year EasyGroup founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou described the bid to take the company private as “a colossal waste of money”.
