He joins the 85-room hotel after overseeing the three-year renovation of the Beaumont.
Duncan Palmer has been appointed managing director at the Bulgari Hotel London.
He has taken over from Kostas Sfaltos, who has left to take up a general manager position at the capital’s Berkeley and Emory hotels.
Palmer was managing director at London’s Beaumont hotel until May, when he stepped down after overseeing a three-year renovation project.
He previously worked as managing director of the Murray Hong Kong, has held senior roles within the Langham Hospitality Group and was general manager at both the Connaught and the Savoy in London.
Palmer said: “I am honoured to join the exceptional team at Bulgari Hotel London, a true icon of modern luxury in the heart of the city.
“My goal is to continue building on the hotel’s legacy, offering our guests unparalleled experiences defined by Bulgari’s distinctive blend of Italian heritage and contemporary elegance.
“Together with my colleagues here, we will ensure that every detail, from personalised service to refined design, reflects the unique values that make Bulgari synonymous with excellence in hospitality.”
The Bulgari opened in 2012 and features 85 rooms, a spa with a 25-metre swimming pool, 47-seat private cinema, ballroom and cigar shop with a sampling room.
