Kostas Sfaltos, former general manager at the One Aldwych, London, has moved to the same position as the five-red-AA-star, 85-bedroom Bulgari Hotel London.
He has taken over the helm of the Knightsbridge-hotel today following the departure in November of Sylvain Ercoli as managing director.
In his new role, Sfaltos will oversee business development, brand positioning, revenue management and the food and beverage operation which includes Rivea London, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant overseen by three-Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse.
During his nearly four year stint at One Aldwych, Sfaltos oversaw the launch in September 2016 of Eneko from Spanish three-Michelin-starred chef Eneko Atxa.
Previous roles have included hotel manager at the Hotel Café Royal, executive assistant manager at the Dorchester hotel and executive assistant manager at the InterContinental London Park Lane.
Sfaltos entered the industry after studying at Rhodes Hotel Management School.
He said: "Bulgari Hotel London is highly regarded for its stylish room product and magnificent spa. I look forward to steering the continued success of the hotel."
