Adriano Cavagnini has joined the Bulgari hotel in London's Knightsbridge as executive chef from the same role at the Corinthia hotel.
Originally from Italy, Cavagnini was previously executive chef at the Corinthia for two years, the Four Seasons Hotel London Park Lane for five years and Hotel Eden in Rome for seven years. He joins the hotel following the departure of Alexandre Nicolas, who joined the Coya brand as a corporate chef last month.
He will be responsible for leading the entire food offering across the five-red-AA-star, 85-bedroom hotel, which has outlets including the three-AA-rosette Rivea London restaurant, the Lounge, Il Bar and the Spirit Room.
Kostas Sfaltos, general manager at the Bulgari hotel, said: "With 35 years of culinary experience behind him, 15 years of which at executive chef level, Adriano joins us with an impressive knowledge of the ever-changing demands of hotel dining. With multiple awards to his name, we are pleased to bring his dynamic and innovative energy to the Bulgari London dining experience."
It was recently announced that André Garrett is to leave Cliveden House where he has been executive chef for the past five years to take on the same role at the Corinthia Hotel London in January.
