The 22-bedroom Vanbrugh House hotel in Oxford has appointed Cristina Raduica as general manager.
Raduica has joined the property from the Best Western Plus Magnolia Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Boarstall, Buckinghamshire, where she was assistant manager.
The move to the Grade-II-listed Vanbrugh House, which is owned by Splendid Hospitality Group, marks a return to Oxford for Raduica, having previously worked in the city as operations manager at the Best Western Linton Lodge from 2012 to 2015.
Raduica, who moved to the UK in 2012, after completing a master's degree in marketing at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, said: "I am so thrilled to be back in Oxford, especially at Vanbrugh House as it is such a lovely hotel. I am looking forward to taking on the challenges that being a general manager brings and working together with the team to ensure that every guest has the best experience possible."
Stuart Bailey, chief executive of Splendid Hospitality, said: "Cristina brings with her such a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the industry and we know she will be a great asset to the hotel."
Vanbrugh House, designed by John Vanbrugh in the 18th century, was opened as a hotel by Sojourn Hotels, the former name of Splendid Hospitality, in 2012.
Splendid Hospitality is the owner and operator of 20 hotels across the UK, including the Grand Hotel & Spa in York and Hilton London Bankside.
