Coppa Club expands to Streatley and Brighton

Casual dining venture Coppa Club is set to open two new sites in Berkshire and Brighton this summer.

The first will launch in July 2019 at part of the £12m refurbishment of the 47-bedroom the Swan at Streatley hotel overlooking the River Thames, with the second opening in Brighton in August.

The 220-cover Brighton site, which is going ahead following planning delays last year, will include a year-round alfresco dining area within Brighton Square incorporating the city's iconic dolphin fountain.

The two new outlets will join existing Coppa Clubs in Berkshire (Sonning and Maidenhead); Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire; and London (St Paul's and Tower Bridge).

Owned by Various Eateries headed by Hugh Osmond, Coppa Club aims to offer a private members club experience "without the membership fees or snobbery". Customers can stay all day and move between the lounge areas, private dining rooms, central bar and restaurant.

Coppa Club achieved like-for-like sales increase of 8.9% from January to March this year.
