The group hopes to open a new restaurant before the end of the year.
Burger & Lobster is continuing to search for new UK sites both in and outside of London.
The group, which runs 18 global restaurants and nine in London, said it was “setting its sights on UK expansion”.
It follows a positive year for the business, which saw pre-tax earnings rise 59% to £3.5m in 2023 with like-for-like growth of 9%. Group turnover was flat at £36.1m, compared to £36.5m in 2022.
Burger & Lobster said it had reduced energy usage by 8.5% during the year due to new initiatives and team training, with staff retention remaining high at 69%.
Dino Sura, managing director of Burger & Lobster Restaurant Group, said: “After a great year and having focussed heavily on quality of service, menu development and brand positioning in that time, we feel confident that now is a great time to expand, with a new site hopefully opening before the end of the year and a further few roll outs next year in our pipeline.
“We also continue to focus on our commitment to the customer and ensuring the quality of their experience is at the heart of everything we do.”
Burger & Lobster’s global portfolio includes restaurants in Singapore, New York, Kuwait City, Malaysia, Bangkok, Qatar and the Philippines.
