Bounce Leisure, the owner of global ping pong bar chain Bounce, is to be renamed Social Entertainment Ventures as part of a global expansion plan.
The company currently operates in Farringdon and Old Street in London; and Corner of Wacker and Clark in Chicago, USA.
It plans to open 20 new wholly owned venues by 2020 with a key focus on new territories including North America, Hong Kong, China and Middle East. Seven new venues are expected to open by the end of 2018.
Bounce is the brainchild of entrepreneur and table tennis player Dov Penzik and All Star Lanes restaurant and bowling concept co-founder, Adam Breeden.
Breeden said: "Being at the forefront of the social entertainment industry for many years means we can now encompass a greater range of concepts in different territories. Now is the time to leverage our extensive experience to bring to market more concepts within this fast-growing category, as well as embark on a more ambitious roll out plan.
"The name change reflects our position as the global market leader and innovator."
The original Bounce opened in Holborn in 2012, offering cocktails, pizza and 17 table tennis tables in a 12,500 sq ft site.
