Bestway Wholesale, the foodservice distributor which owns BB Foodservice, Bestway and Batleys depots, has appointed David Livingstone as their head of catering.
Livingstone steps up to the role from his current position as regional operations manager and project manager of the Bestway depot hubs project. He joined Bestway when it bought Batleys in 200. His remit will now include managing the Bestway Wholesale delivered and collect catering propositions.
Dawood Pervez, managing director at Bestway Wholesale said: "We're committed to ensuring we always deliver the best service to our customers and to providing great products at even better prices. David's appointment brings an increased focus on catering to our team, to help us progress even further in delivering what catering customers need."
Livingstone added: "I'm very excited to be taking up my new role as head of catering. The market has huge potential and appetite for growth, and I'm looking forward to putting plans into action, ensuring that potential is fully realised for Bestway Wholesale within catering."
The appointment follows a series of changes at Bestway Wholesale, including the recent appointment of Dawood Pervez to managing director and Tony Holmes as retail director who has also assumed responsibility for new business development, as James Hall has announced his retirement from Bestway Wholesale from June 2019.
