Bellavita, the Italian food and drink show dedicated to industry professionals, will open the doors of its fifth show in London at the Business Design Centre, Islington, from 17-19 June.
Bellavita Expo has seen five years of consecutive growth, with the number of exhibitors increasing by 23%. This year, the event will showcase nearly 1,000 new products, including categories that have been especially selected for the UK market, such as lesser-known aged foods, botanical-infused oils and dressings, organic and indigenous wines made with ancient grape varieties, sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan treats, cheese and bakery products.
Key brands such a Lavazza, Villa Sandi, Frescobaldi, Allegrini, Fontanafredda, Feudi di San Gregorio and Birrificio Angelo Poretti have already confirmed their presence at the event, and over 200 exhibitors are anticipated to take part.
Visitors will also have the chance to learn about the latest trends in Italian cuisine through masterclasses with chefs, panels and talks with industry experts and trade professionals.
"The UK is the fourth-largest importer of Italian products worldwide, with food and beverage at the forefront in terms of growth," said Aldo Mazzocco, Bellavita chief executive.
"In the UK the culture around food is constantly changing: the British public is more knowledgeable about Italian food and expects transparency and quality at a fair price; this is why Bellavita Expo is such an important date for industry professionals looking for innovative produce that can capture consumers' attention and increase sales thanks to its authentic regional identity."
Hospitality trade professionals can register for the show here.
