Anthony Raffo and Maria Danzanvilliers had worked at Mark Jarvis’ Anglo for the past four and a half years.
Head chef Anthony Raffo and restaurant manager Maria Danzanvilliers will be leaving Anglo restaurant in London’s Farringdon.
The pair’s departure was announced on Instagram “with lots of mixed emotions”.
Raffo and Danzanvilliers run the restaurant day-to-day and have been there for the past four and a half years, having “pushed the restaurant further than it has ever been before”.
The statement on social media read: “Having full creative control of the restaurant they have created something truly unique with their food and service and won’t be the same without them.
“Their hard work and vision of Anglo has paid off with glowing reviews and accolades. Thank you so much and please everyone follow them to see what they do next but first a well deserved break.”
Anglo is a modern British restaurant that was founded by Le Manoir-trained chef Mark Jarvis, which won him the Newcomer Award at the 2017 Cateys.
In January, Jarvis was appointed culinary director of Signet Collection, which this year acquired its fourth property, Deans Place hotel.
Anglo has been contacted for comment.
