Independent school caterer Holroyd Howe has named Acorn and Catey Award winner Amy Roberts managing director of operations.
In the newly created role, healthy eating champion Roberts will spearhead the independent school caterers’ operational teams across the UK, unifying its approach across operations, food innovation, chef development, nutrition, sustainability and marketing.
Roberts has worked at Holroyd Howe for more than four years during which time she has implemented a sustainability strategy for over 200 schools' and introduced an industry accredited programme, enabling over 10,000 pupils a year to be educated on the importance of nutrition.
