The Ali Group, recognised as one of the largest global manufacturers of foodservice equipment, has announced a reorganisation of the UK distribution of its Comenda warewash, Lainox, Mareno and Rosinox oven products and Rendisk waste management systems.
All five brands are currently distributed in the UK by the group's wholly owned subsidiary Dawson MMP, based in Barnsley in the UK. However, the Ali Group has decided to refocus the distribution of the five equipment brands through alternative UK channels and as such, has started an orderly closure of Dawson, which will happen over the next few months.
The brands will now be distributed as follows:
The Ali Group will uphold all ongoing warranty and after-sales service and maintenance obligations currently provided by Dawson with the new distribution partners co-ordinating customer service for both existing as well as new product warranty, service and maintenance requirements.
Tim Tindle, managing director of Falcon Foodservice Equipment, commented: "Falcon is working closely with Dawson and the Lainox factory team throughout the transfer process to ensure that robust and effective sales service and spares support arrangements continue.
"Falcon has sold a Lainox-based combination oven under the Falcon brand for several years now and the company is therefore conversant with the elements of the Lainox product offering. This is an opportunity for us to build on our growing sales and he work Dawson has done to build the Lainox brand here in the UK.
"The Falcon team is looking forward to working with all Lainox customers and would like to take this opportunity to assure them of continuation of supply."
