Fresh Kitchen is launching a range of 18 hand-prepared products into Brakes, including pickled watermelon, a delicate pickle with sweet and sharp flavours; the spicy Comeback Sauce, to be used for dipping, seafood cocktails, burgers, chicken and barbecues; and golden beetroot piccalilli, a blend of golden beetroot, sultanas and vegetables in a thick, sweet dressing infused with mustard seeds.

Santa Maria has launched a Korean flavours range comprising a black pepper soy sauce, which combines soy, black pepper, pear and a hint of garlic; a fermented chilli sauce, with hot chillies and tangy lime; a fermented soy and chilli paste, combining fruity sweetness with balanced acidity; a chilli and sesame seasoning, umami-rich sauce with garlic; and a kimchi paste with chilli and garlic, which contains strong chilli, garlic and fruity lime. The product range is vegan and lactose-free.

Foodservice manufacturer Middleton Foods has introduced a range of gluten-free marinades, inspired by some of the world’s most popular cuisines. The range is certified as gluten free by Coeliac UK and comes in four flavours – Maple & Chilli, Mediterranean, Mexican and Shawarma. The marinades meet the 2024 salt guidelines when used at recommended usage, so are suitable for education catering. They come in 2kg tubs, are free from MSG and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Peat’d has launched the world’s only range of peat-smoked tomato sauces, available in original, garlic, chilli and truffle varieties. Cold smoking in a traditional Glaswegian smokehouse produces an intense flavour to make dishes taste richer, deeper and more complex. Peat’d uses 0.0006g of peat in each of its 305g jars, with much of the peat used coming from distiller Isle of Islay’s offcuts.

Banhoek Chilli Oil has added one-litre bottles for the foodservice industry to its portfolio. The versatile condiment can be used as a drizzle, a marinade or to cook with. It accentuates natural flavours and is halal, kosher and vegan-friendly. The oil is handmade in small batches in the Banhoek Valley in the winelands of South Africa and uses just two ingredients: dried chilli and canola oil.
