Hospitality operators looking for food and drink inspiration at this year’s HRC trade show need look no further.

With the exhibition making a return to London’s ExCeL as part of Food, Drink and Hospitality week on 17-19 March, we have picked out some of the stands that will reflect the taste of the show.

HRC will be co-located with sister shows IFE, IFE Manufacturing and the Pub Show and will also incorporate chef competition International Salon Culinaire.

So to get an advance look at new food and drink products, here is a round up of some of the latest launches to be showcased at the event.

Andros Foodservice

Andros Foodservice will be highlighting Bonne Maman’s new hazelnut chocolate spread in 25g jars for on-the-go venues. The spread combines the rich taste of chocolate with the smooth, nutty taste of hazelnuts with no artificial additives. Also on stand will be a wider range of Bonne Maman classic jams and spreads.

Aussie Beef & Lamb

Aussie Beef & Lamb denotes high standards of food safety and animal welfare in Australian red meat products. This year, the brand is the official meat partner of Salon Culinaire and will have a stand in the HRC area. Seven Australian red meat exporters – Fletcher International Exports, Jack’s Creek, JBS Australia, MT Food Group, Pardoo Wagyu, Stone Axe Pastoral Company and Thomas Foods International – will be showcasing a range of products, including some new to the market. Chef Graham Green will also be cooking up tasters of beef and lamb across the three days.

Aviko, producer of a range of fries and potato sides, is offering visitors the chance to sample a new product that will join its ‘Snackables’ range. They join Chilli Cheezz Nuggets, Hash Brown Bites and Camembert Bites in the range.

Cambrook

Cambrook will be spreading the word about its new 90g pouches of chocolate-coated nuts. The baked Californian almonds are coated with a salted dark, a creamy milk and a rich white chocolate and made in traditional chocolate coating pans with high-cocoa chocolate. The salted caramel chocolate hazelnuts are caramelised in Italian copper pans before being coated the traditional way with a smooth dark chocolate.

Stand H320

Cornish Sea Salt

Cornish Sea Salt, which is hand-harvested from the sea off the Cornish coast, will be showcasing its new Rosemary Sea Salt blend, which can be used to season roast potatoes or as a dry rub for meats. It will also be showing its Salt & Vinegar blend, which recreates the classic seaside combination, and a new 350g pot size of its soft finishing flakes.

Stand H559

Ferrero Foodservice

Headlining Ferrero Foodservice’s stand is the Nutella 1kg cartridge, which is designed to work seamlessly with the new Nutella dispensers. The dispensers are available in either an electronic or manual option, with the electronic version suitable for front of house at breakfast buffets, while the manual dispenser and cartridge can be used back of house, making it a quick and efficient way to fill or top baked goods. Also on the stand will be Ferrero’s Nutella 3kg tub, which is designed to minimise waste for professional kitchens. Visitors will also have the chance to explore Ferrero’s other brands, such as Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Chocolate and ready-made Nutella Bakery products.

Stand H456

Jude’s

Ice-cream brand Jude’s will be introducing its new scooping parlour concept at the show, created to help restaurants expand their menu with ice-cream, while promoting a carbon-conscious message. Jude’s range of dairy and plant-based ice-cream includes vanilla clotted cream, rum and raisin and mint chocolate, with new innovations such as Sicilian lemon and caramel biscuit.

Pact Coffee

Pact Coffee will be showcasing its full range of coffee options for catering and office accounts, from filter coffees to espresso blends, along with coffee optimised for bean-to-cup machines. Pizza Si

PizzaSi is using HRC to introduce the Foldwich, a folded pizza sandwich for quick-service, grab-and-go or lunch menus. Delivered pre-folded and unsealed, the Foldwich allows for creativity – simply bake, fill and serve. It is cooked in 3-4 minutes in a PizzaSi stone-based oven. A Foldwich can be filled with bold flavours like lamb and chimichurri or classics like bacon, egg and sausage.
