Foodservice provider Bidfood has a launched a series of guides to reopening a business.
The guides have been produced for each sector and are intended to provide customers with step-by-step advice, from how to best use a space and adhere to social distancing guidance to hygiene protocols, managing finances, focusing on customer loyalty, looking after people and marketing advice.
The first in the series is the hotel guide, launched earlier this month, and a seven-step checklist designed in conjunction with the School Food Plan Alliance.
Alongside the guides, the Bidfood Talking Food podcast series aims to tackle current and future challenges. It is available online, with the next in the series set to air next week, which will consider ways to help establishments become operational again in their kitchens.
Gemma Benford, head of customer marketing, said: “Delivering service excellence, making customers' lives easier and helping them to grow has never been more important, and while the landscape is constantly changing, we are working hard at Bidfood to remain agile and adaptable. By putting our customers first, we are making sure that we can get close to them and the challenges they are facing, to understand how best we can support them in the most effective way for their business.”
