Catering company Tart London is set to launch neighbourhood restaurant Wild by Tart at Eccleston Yards in October.
Founders Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison have teamed up with Tom Warren of Lock Studios, a photography and events space in Hoxton, to launch the new venture, which is housed in a former power station and coal store in London’s Victoria.
Alongside the restaurant, there will be a bar, deli, juice and coffee kiosk, retail store, events space and photography studio – some of which is already open.
Jones and Carr-Ellison, who are also food columnists for London’s Evening Standard Magazine, will serve a seasonally changing sharing menu comprising ‘bites’, small plates and sweets.
Sample dishes include pulled pheasant croquettes with harissa yogurt; clams, nduja and cider linguine; smoked tomatoes, burrata and basil oil; grapefruit and basil posset; butterscotch pots; and homemade ice-creams.
Sourdough pizzas cooked in a wood burning oven will also be available, featuring topping combinations such as spicy fennel sausage, pickled chilli, confit tomato and mozzarella, and mixed mushroom with taleggio and tarragon.
Alongside counter dining at the open kitchen there will be communal tables and a lounge area, as well as a mezzanine-level private dining room.
