Nominations have opened for the Foodservice Catey Awards 2017, showcasing the excellent work that the foodservice sector does in feeding the nation.
The Caterer
These awards highlight the great work of foodservice employees across the UK. They recognise and reward the individuals and teams that work tirelessly to make sure their business delivers the very best service, day in, day out.
Among the winners at last yearâs event were Chef of the Year Steve Land of Gather & Gather, Catering Manager of the Year Murray Soper of Bartlett Mitchell, Regional Manager of the Year Catharine Barras of BaxterStorey, Retail & Leisure Caterer of the Year Amadeus, and Business & Industry Caterer of the Year Vacherin.
Outstanding Contribution Award went to Phil Hooper of Sodexo.
This year we are looking to honour another collection of high achievers in foodservice, in disciplines which include catering managers, front-of-house teams and chefs, along with the overall business and industry, healthcare, and education caterers of the year.
To reflect the evolving nature of foodservice, we have broadened two categories - Front of House Team of the Year and Chef of the Year. Both awards have been split into two categories - public and private site â" enabling us to recognise operations that are open to the general public as well as continuing to reward those that are not, such as staff restaurants and directors' dining.
The deadline for entries is 23 June and entries can be made at www.foodservicecateys.com. The awards will be presented at a glittering ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge on 13 October.
