Splendid Hospitality Group will launch the debut Four Points Express by Sheraton hotel in the UK this summer following an agreement with Marriott International.
The 201-bedroom Four Points Express London Euston will feature a restaurant, bar and an on-site Caffè Nero.
It will also mark Splendid Hospitality’s first partnership with the Maryland-based hotel company.
Marriott International launched Four Points Express by Sheraton as a new midscale conversion brand in October. It said the brand was created in response to increased consumer demand for “reliable yet affordable” accommodation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Splendid Hospitality has invested £50m into the Euston-based project, which will go towards a complete refurbishment of the building.
Nadeem Boghani, vice chairman of Splendid Hospitality, said: “Splendid Hospitality strives to deliver exceptional service and quality in our growing portfolio, and relishes the opportunity of working with Marriott International on launching this exciting new brand in the UK.
“This new brand concept lends itself perfectly to supporting the transient corporate and leisure market in a thriving travel hub of London, and perfectly complements Splendid’s existing portfolio of hotels.”
Sandra Schulze-Potgieter, vice president, premium and select brands, EMEA, at Marriott International, added: “Midscale travellers are prioritising elements that make both business and leisure trips effortless. Working in partnership with Splendid Hospitality, our first UK hotel will treat these fundamentals with great importance by providing clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast and complimentary WiFi, all at an affordable price and in a great location.”
Splendid Hospitality Group is the operator and developer of 24 hotels with over 2,500 bedrooms, which includes brands such as IHG, Accor and Hilton.
