The area around Dean Street in London’s Soho has been evacuated again after “another part” of an unexploded WWII bomb discovered yesterday was found.
Officers have evacuated Dean Street, Richmond Mews, Meard Street and St Anne’s Court with numerous hospitality businesses understood to be affected once more.
Part of the bomb was discovered on Monday afternoon and a huge area of Soho evacuated for several hours, with a reduced cordon lasting into the evening until that section of the device was removed at around 8.38pm.
Soho Police announced the second round of cordons were being lifted early on Tuesday evening.
