Locke, the design-led aparthotel from the Serviced Apartment Company (SACO), has launched a new 160-studio property in Manchester.
The Whitworth Locke site has been developed within a former cotton mill by New York architects Grzywinski+Pons, and features a central glass atrium, a crossfit gym, a coffee house from Foundation Coffee, an exclusive pop-up cocktail bar and co-working spaces.
Eric Jafari, Locke's co-founder and creative director, said; "Whitworth Locke encompasses our ambitions and is demonstrative of the brand's future. This is a very special project for us.
"We know modern travellers increasingly value their social experiences and personal connections. We've created a space where people can truly feel at home. From our perspective, a second home is more than the four walls, it's defined by a combination of your community and ability to maintain your daily habits."
The opening follows that of Eden Locke in Edinburgh last year and Lehman Locke, Aldgate, London, in 2016.
