Robin Bidgood has been promoted to managing director of Ampersand, CH&Co Group's bespoke event, venue and visitor attraction catering arm after the departure of Paul Jackson earlier this year.
Jackson spent nearly seven years at Ampersand and prior to that was operations director at CH&Co for ten years, but left in February this year and is currently taking time out to consider his next role.
Bidgood joined CH&Co Group last spring after spending a period of time at Peyton & Byrne as its chief operating officer and prior to that was managing director of Smart Hospitality and CEO of Tate Catering.
A spokesman for CH&Co Group said: "After a successful period with CH&Co and building the Ampersand brand, Paul Jackson decided earlier this year that it was the right time for him to move on and take a short career break in the process. Robin Bidgood, who was commercial director for CH&Co Group's commercial business has now been promoted to managing director, commercial."
Ampersand's clients include the Historic Royal Palaces, ZSL London Zoo, and the Law Society.
The CH&Co Group was formed in June 2015 through the merger of CH&Co and HCM (Host Catermasters) Group.
In July of 2016, independent education caterer, the Brookwood Partnership and its sister company, ABsolutely Catering also merged with CH&Co Group.
